Privacy Policy

Zanii (“we”, “us”) operates the Zanii Ledger transparency log at ledger.zanii.agency. This policy explains what we collect and why, consistent with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and general data-protection principles.

What we collect

Account data you provide when you create an organization or API key (organization name, contact email, key metadata). Operational data needed to run the service (API usage counts, timestamps, webhook endpoints you configure). Receipt content itself is not collected: agents submit only a cryptographic hash of a payload, never the payload, so the underlying data never leaves your systems.

Why we collect it

To provide the transparency-log service, authenticate write access, meter usage, deliver webhooks you request, and secure the platform. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

Retention

Append-only ledger entries (signed receipts, tree heads, anchors) are, by design, permanent and publicly verifiable, they cannot be deleted without breaking the proof chain, and they contain no personal payload data, only hashes and public keys. Account and usage records are retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and security obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data. Note that public ledger entries are immutable and cannot be altered or removed. To exercise any right, contact admin@zanii.agency.

Security

Keys gate writes only; reads are public because authenticity comes from cryptographic signatures, not from access control. Admin keys are shown once and stored by you. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account data.

Verification on Zanii is cryptographic evidence of what an agent did; it is not legal, financial, or tax advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed professional where one is required.
